Westlake, OH · Physical Therapy & Performance
Physical Therapy with a Doctor of PT who finds the real source of your pain and builds you back stronger than before.
You're tired of sitting on the sidelines from the hobbies you love, worried about keeping up with your kids or grandkids in the future, or simply losing confidence in what your body can handle.
Pain doesn't always exist in isolation. Many of our patients come in with more than one area bothering them and often, there's a connection. We look at how your entire body moves and address what's contributing to the problem, not just where it hurts.
Maybe you've passed some basic strength or mobility tests, but you still don't feel 100%. You want more confidence, less fear of re-injury, and a body you can rely on for the long haul.

03Get back to your hobbies and stay there
We'll build a clear path back to what you love, then give you the tools to keep your body strong, capable, and ready for the long haul.
Patient experiences

“I met Brittan at a Golf Tournament where she had a Bridge Rehab and Performance tent set up. I thought “what the heck, let me try this cupping thing for my lower back.” I felt instant relief just after a few minutes. So I decided to book a Tune Up in their Westlake location. Let me just tell you, that session was awesome. Kyle identified exactly where my tension and tightness has been building up over time. After the session I felt so much better and booked another session. Anyone committed to pain recovery, maintenance and ultimately longevity, you have got to check them out! I feel even more confident with my body and on the golf course, and that means the world to me!”

“Kyle and his team do an incredible job. The physical therapy and cupping has helped me with back and hip pain and stiffness. The sauna and cold plunge is amazing for recovery! I love the variety of what we do and I feel amazing immediately afterward, but more importantly for days and weeks. Thank you Kyle and the team at Bridge!”

“Kyle and his team at Bridge have provided me with great strengthening techniques and exercises to help improve my running form and endurance. The therapy sessions and stretching ideas have also improved my mobility as well as the ability to recover faster, particularly from long runs.”

“My doctor told me my aging body wasn’t going to be able to move the way it used to and I refused to believe that. Frustrated and discouraged, I called Kyle. Through his program, we were able to avoid drugs and surgeries while restoring full function back to my knee and back without any more pain! We are currently working towards preparing my body to climb Kilimanjaro!”

“I started working with Bridge Rehab and Performance to deal with all the pain I was living with in my back and shoulders. Kyle laid out a clear plan with exercises to do at home, massage, and therapy. I have seen great improvement in just a short time. I am now able to work out more often and am gaining strength. I have less pain and more stamina for my work day. I can’t be happier with Kyle and his team. Highly recommend for anyone trying to get back in the game and feel better.”

“As a runner, I’ve had two different injuries over the past year, and Bridge Rehab in Westlake has helped me recover from both. Kyle and Emily did an incredible job not only treating the injuries but also identifying the root causes behind them. They helped me strengthen the weak areas that were contributing to the problem, and their approach made all the difference in my recovery. The care and attention they give to each patient is top-notch. Highly recommend Bridge Rehab to any athlete or anyone looking for smart, effective, and supportive physical therapy.”

“Bridge Rehab & Performance has been a blessing after battling a knee injury for almost a year. Kyle and his team have become an indispensable resource on my road to recovery, and I appreciate their personalized approach to physical therapy. Kyle possesses a deep understanding of how to work with experienced athletes as his tailored strength programming has left me feeling stronger week by week. I look forward to my visits because they have been so beneficial, and my confidence in Kyle’s treatment is apparent in my 40-minute drive to his office.”

“Amazing clinic, therapists, and overall experience! I am incredibly grateful for Emily helping me out with a foot issue mid-marathon training. The exercise program caught it before it got worse, helped me strengthen other areas, and I was able to finish the cycle super strong and feel so confident at my first marathon. The recovery tools and conversations about everything from the injury itself to sleep and nutrition helped me take care of my whole self. I never want to leave. Thank you, Emily!”

“I lacked the ability to create a workout for me that would push me at home. I do not have a gym membership and I challenged Kyle to help create something that would work for me in my home gym with a few bands, dumbbells, and a chin-up bar. He made it work. Every time we update my routine, he is able to isolate problems, create adapted routines, and keep me improving.”

“I went to Emily at Bridge Rehab for help working around chronic hip pain. She and Kyle took me through several workouts with multiple stretches, exercises, and massage that attacked the issue head on. Now I can continue the routine on my own and avoid surgery. I’ll be back for more. The ice bath is a game changer. Great experience!”

“I have been dealing with knee issues for the last year and regular physical therapy was not working for me. I found Bridge through an online search and have had no regrets since. Kyle immediately reached out after I sent in an email and we quickly scheduled an evaluation session. I’ve been working with Emily for the past couple months and it has truly been a great experience. Both are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and clearly very experienced in dealing with injuries. I would highly recommend this place to anyone hoping to return to athletic form after dealing with injuries.”

We do not solely work with traditional athletes. We specialize in helping people with active goals, whether that means hiking, traveling, competing in a favorite hobby, or keeping up with grandkids.
The plan depends on your starting point and goals. Your initial evaluation includes a realistic timeline and recommended next steps based on what your provider finds.
In many cases, yes. The Bridge approach is “modify, don’t stop.” Your provider will help you adjust training so you can protect progress while addressing the source of the problem.
A full physical therapy evaluation is for a new, recurring, or unclear problem. Tune Ups are shorter, targeted sessions for maintenance or a known area after the underlying issue has already been evaluated.
